Job Description

Job Summary: As the Operations Manager (Warehouse & Yard) at Brett Martin, you'll be at the centre of our logistical operations, ensuring seamless coordination between our warehouse and yard activities. Your leadership will drive efficiency, maintain safety standards, and optimise processes to support our global supply chain.

About The Role

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management:

  • Supervise all aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving to shipping.

  • Develop and implement streamlined processes for maximum productivity.

  • Maintain precise inventory control through regular audits and reconciliations.

Yard Management:

  • Optimise yard layout for efficient vehicle and equipment movement.

  • Coordinate loading and unloading operations while ensuring safety compliance.

  • Oversee yard maintenance to uphold organisation and cleanliness standards.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor our warehouse and yard teams to foster a collaborative environment.

  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify areas for optimisation and implement innovative solutions.

  • Monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency.

Customer Service:

  • Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.

  • Address customer inquiries and concerns related to warehouse and yard operations.
