This role plays a critical part in delivering Greene King’s Digital ambitions through the planning and management of Greene King’s digital environments and technical releases. You will have a strong background in environment management and release management along with knowledge of industry best practice.

Job Description

In your role as Environments and Release Manager you will ...

Plan our environment needs and usage across the digital technology stack (production and non-production) Establish processes and governance to support the management of the digital environments Further the data quality and alignment across test systems including influencing third party suppliers test system data Schedule and manage utilisation of test systems across the digital portfolio Work with non-digital system owners, to define and implement appropriate end-to-end test environments and test data to support digital changes Plan & execute the releases across the digital technology stack Identify opportunities to continuously improve the release process, including process automation Work with Delivery Managers to understand and manage risks and dependencies between technology releases

What you'll bring...

You have experience of operating with DevOps Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment cycles and the implementation of automated deployment tools Good understanding and experience across a broad range of IT digital & CRM technologies and integrations e.g. Websites, Mobile Apps, Customer Data Platforms, APIs etc  Tell us how you manage Agile and Waterfall test environments and release processes for both internal and third party technical releases Understanding of release best practice principles
