Theirclients are predominantly UK based owner managed businesses butthey operate in a national marketplace and can draw on theexpertise and local knowledge of their experienced team members.They are one of the largest Firms of Chartered Accountants in thelocal area as well as across the UK and they boast an enviableworking culture and client base. This position will offer youamazing large client exposure but with the benefit of a relaxed andsupportive workingenvironment.

Asan Audit and Accounts Assistant or even Semi Senior you will beresponsiblefor:

  • Preparationof company accounts and corporation taxreturns
  • Preparationof accounts for sole traders Ltd companies andpartnerships
  • Assistin the preparation of the audit plan and ensures it appropriatelyaddresses auditobjectives
  • Takean active part in the audit planning and fraud discussion toidentify audit risks and appropriate auditstrategy
  • Overseeall aspects of audit fieldwork andcompletion
  • Ensureplanned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy auditobjectives
  • Youwill get exposure of both small and large companies as well as somenotforprofit organisationstoo.


RequirementsThesuccessful candidate will have/be:

  • Atleast 2 years practice experience dealing with accounts preparationand assisting with audits particularly withfieldwork.
  • AATqualified/ ACCA/ ACAstudying.
  • Wellorganised and able to workautonomously.
  • Experienceof dealing with clients face toface.
  • Ateam player and happy to offer help toothers.
