Key Responsibilities
As an Audit and Accounts Assistant or Semi Senior, your duties will include:
- Preparation of corporate accounts and corporation tax submissions.
- Preparation of financial statements for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
- Assisting in the formulation of the audit plan to ensure it meets audit objectives.
- Actively participating in audit planning and discussions regarding fraud to identify risks and develop appropriate audit strategies.
- Overseeing all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion.
- Ensuring that planned audit tasks are executed to meet audit objectives.
- Gaining exposure to both small and large enterprises, including not-for-profit organizations.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in practice, specifically in accounts preparation and audit assistance, particularly in fieldwork.
- AAT qualified or currently studying towards ACCA/ACA.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience in face-to-face client interactions.
- A collaborative spirit and willingness to assist colleagues.
