About the Role

Cloister Resourcing Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Audit Manager to join our expanding Audit team in Southampton. As an Assistant Audit Manager, you will play a key role in planning, performing, and completing audit processes for various assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Regularly discuss progress with clients, identify solutions to hurdles, and ensure reasonable expectations are met.
  • Opportunity Identification: Highlight opportunities for business growth from work undertaken.
  • Training and Development: Assist and perform training of junior staff, and complete assessment forms of audit teams.
  • Procedure Compliance: Perform work in accordance with company audit and assignment procedures.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare draft accounts/reports and completion memos, including identification of control weaknesses or areas of improvement, for review by managers.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience: Demonstrable audit and accounts experience gained within a professional services firm.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrable experience of supervising others and delegation of work.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrable ability to organize self and others, ensuring work on multiple assignments can be managed effectively.
