Audit Assistant Manager Opportunity

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a talented Audit Assistant Manager to join their team in Southampton. As a key member of the Audit Team, you will be responsible for planning, performing, and completing the audit process for each assignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish relationships with key contacts at the client
  • Ensure clients receive efficient and proactive service and expectations are exceeded
  • Identify issues and agree resolutions with partner or Director, ensuring they are up-to-date with the job's progress
  • Have an awareness of commercial aspects of clients' business and its impact on our work
  • Identify and highlight any opportunities for the firm apparent from work undertaken
  • Have regular discussions with the client to confirm progress, identify solutions to any hurdles and ensure reasonable expectations are met
Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrable audit experience gained within a professional services firm
  • Proven experience of supervising others and delegation of work
  • Technically competent with a good commercial awareness
  • Strong communication skills (internally and directly with clients)
  • Good organisation skills and ability to work as part of a team
