As a dynamic and high profile central Strategy team we play a pivotal role in developing Virgin Media O2's long term business plans and guarding its integrity and evolution for value creation.

This role is a critical contributor to this responsibility, supporting the Strategic Planning Director in the cross-functional development of our 3-10-year plans and the subsequent monitoring of the delivery of those plans to successfully achieve company goals

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

Strong analytical skills and knowledge of business modelling, forecasting and scenario building Self-starting individual, resourceful and solution-driven, able to manage and successfully deliver multiple tasks in parallel Excellent team-working and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships across the business and broader group Strong written communication and structured story-telling ability Knowledge of the telecoms market and digital services and of the potential opportunities/threats for the industry The other stuff we are looking for Some enterprise-wide strategy development experience relevant to tier 1 global Telco operation Knowledge and experience of the broader TMT space Working with central teams and Divisions to support the delivery of compelling annual and long-range business plans for VMO2 which meet EC and shareholder expectations Design & communicate the strategic direction for business wide stakeholders to ensure alignment of strategic plans with operational plans Knowledge of key customer, economic, technology and regulatory trends, and potential strategic moves of competitors.
