  • Supporting Inclusion: Ensure that students with additional needs are fully included in all aspects of school life. You will work alongside teachers and other support staff to adapt learning activities and provide necessary support.

  • Monitoring and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of students’ behaviour and progress, regularly reporting to the school's pastoral team. You will contribute to discussions and meetings regarding student welfare, helping shape effective support strategies.

  • Parental Engagement: Communicate with parents and carers to provide updates on student progress and collaborate on strategies to support the child's development. Building strong partnerships with families will be a key part of your role.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with young people, especially those with behavioural challenges, in an educational or similar setting.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach, with the ability to manage challenging situations with composure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with students, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude, ready to respond to the dynamic needs of students and the school environment.
