Overview

We're looking for a SME & Partnerships Placement Manager to join our team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer outcomes through optimising placement with SME panel partners and products. In addition to creating solutions for scheme propositions and niche risks. You'll be an excellent communicator, and have effective relationship-management skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Based across our Llantrisant and Brierley Hill offices, this role will require additional travel connected to the relationship and performance management of our insurer partners. How you'll make an impact Deliver exceptional customer outcomes through optimising placement with SME panel partners and products Assist in the development of and implementation of a Tier 2 SME panel for wide of appetite risks Planning and execution of PRISM meetings with Team Managers, Account Handlers and Account Executives for our largest and most vulnerable customer renewals Work with SME teams to ensure risk presentations provided to insurers are to a suitably high standard Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with the SME Panel markets, ensuring products remain best of breed and deliver good customer outcomes Work with the SME management team to ensure our products and services keep pace with; market improvements, customer requirements, changes in customer behaviour, and regulatory change Set up and oversee a monthly broking and placement meeting with key individuals in our SME hubs in attendance and with a specific focus on improving our customer and colleague experience Gather colleague and leadership feedback on insurer service level performance, share with relevant insurers, create and oversee an improvement plan when required Routinely share market news and insurer contact points with all colleagues, using case studies and good news stories to ensure colleagues are engaged Be part of the SME leadership team and work with the team to deliver divisional dominant priorities Regularly communicate with National Broking and placement team to ensure alignment to UK Retail placement strategy About you Strong communication and relationship-management skills Good, broad commercial insurer relationships and understanding of insurer target business footprint Strong commercial insurance technical acumen ideally to ACII level but not essential Experience of being part of a local or regional broking or insurer leadership team Eligible to work in the UK Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
