What you do:
The BusinessSystems Analyst supports the goals of the operational businesssystems and processes within Allianz Investment Management. Theposition applies investment systems knowledge to manageinvestmentrelated projects working closely with vendors IT andbusiness leaders. The position also provides System Analysis andcollaborates with AIM systems users to drive changes in automationwhich includes redesigning systems and processes. Scope excludesthe Hedging area
  • System Development: Utilize programming expertise todevelop new and/or changes to automated processes. Translatebusiness requirements into automated production quality code ordevelop efficient user interfaces to support daily operationalflows for GA assets and data management. Technically represent AIMGA Operations when interacting with vendors or asset managers whendiscussing new data flows or implementing new data transmissionmethods (ex. SFTP file delivery). Responsive and creative problemsolver able to diagnose systems issues effectively and presentchanges solutions with a sense of urgency. Support the daily runstate of AIM GA Operations by participating in daily run tasks.Adhere to project delivery standards and timelines.
  • Business Application Expert:Establish relationships with business leaders in order to determineoptimal solutions for complex business needs. Support theimplementation of reengineered and integrated business processes tomeet the needs of internal clients. Work with key stakeholders tomake decisions and ensure they are aligned with Business Unit andBusiness System objectives. Learns and provides support of theInvestment systems data to key parties. Have knowledge of a varietyof investment types including fixed income mortgages andalternative assets.
What you bring:
  • 7 years experience required:Relevant technical and business work experience (Investment systemsknowledge)
  • 3 yearsexperience preferred: Technical experience or support of: PAMinvestment accounting system Bloomberg AIM/POMS Black Rocks AladdinSystem
  • Experience inwriting production code for critical business systems (C#/.NETand/or MS SQL preferred)
  • Fouryear degree required: Finance BusinessAdministration Computer Science Mathematics Engineering or otherrelated field
