Salary: From £12.90 per hour

Role Overview: As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers to provide targeted support to students with diverse learning requirements. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the classroom, adapting materials, and promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teaching staff to support students in class.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group assistance as needed.
  • Help create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students in an educational setting.
  • Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills.
  • Passion for promoting student well-being and success.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to individual student needs.

All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and other relevant employment checks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
