We are looking for a Full Time HR People Advisor  to join our team in Thornbury. As an HR People Advisor, you will partner with the HR Manager and operate as a true generalist, managing the day to day running of the HR department at the site.

Role details:

Salary:  Up to £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Hours: 37.5 Per Week, Monday to Friday (Site Based)

Location:  Gist Thornbury, BS35 3UT

What you’ll do:

Ensuring the operational success and development of the HR department, working closely alongside senior site management Heavy involvement in matters of employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issues Absence management Delivery of induction training for new starters, consistently updating welcome pack information Ensuring all elements of HR administration are carried out - e.g. starters, leavers, referencing, security and compliance checks, etc Assist with all aspects of recruitment and selection on site

Who you are:

Experience within a similar HR Advisory/Officer position Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards Previous experience within the FMCG, logistics or supply chain sector would be highly desirable, as would exposure to a unionised environment Excellent relationship building skills Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
