Job Title: Senior Business Support Administrator
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in the office each week)
Salary: £26,700 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Business Support Administrator to join our Fostering Service. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality, confidential administrative support to the Fostering Team while managing a small team of Business Support Administrators. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the fostering service by managing a variety of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive administrative support, including typing, filing, diary management, and minute-taking. Maintain accurate documents, reports, and databases in a timely and confidential manner. Support the Fostering Panel with coordination, minute-taking, and report preparation. Manage foster carer training schedules, records, and profiles. Supervise and support Business Support Administrators, including conducting supervisions and appraisals. Oversee the management of referral data, matching and placement processes for children and young people. Assist with marketing activities for Foster Carer recruitment and manage enquiries. Coordinate with the Panel Advisor on training and recruitment activities for the Fostering Panel. Support with budget monitoring, data analysis, and IT training within the team.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum Level 2 qualification in business administration or ICT (preferred). Experience in database management and strong IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and social media tools. Exceptional organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information and work to deadlines in a busy environment. Experience in customer service and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience in supervising or line managing staff is an advantage. Knowledge of fostering services is desirable but not essential.
