Senior Business Support Administrator

About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Business Support Administrator to join our Fostering Service. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality, confidential administrative support to the Fostering Team while managing a small team of Business Support Administrators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including typing, filing, diary management, and minute-taking.
- Maintain accurate documents, reports, and databases in a timely and confidential manner.
- Support the Fostering Panel with coordination, minute-taking, and report preparation.
- Manage foster carer training schedules, records, and profiles.
- Supervise and support Business Support Administrators, including conducting supervisions and appraisals.
- Oversee the management of referral data, matching and placement processes for children and young people.
- Assist with marketing activities for Foster Carer recruitment and manage enquiries.
- Coordinate with the Panel Advisor on training and recruitment activities for the Fostering Panel.
- Support with budget monitoring, data analysis, and IT training within the team.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in business administration or ICT (preferred).
- Experience in database management and strong IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and social media tools.
- Exceptional organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and work to deadlines in a busy environment.
- Experience in customer service and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience in supervising or line managing staff is an advantage.
- Knowledge of fostering services is desirable but not essential.
