Job Duties:
  • Supervise and manage a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Ensure students are on task and following the lesson plan provided
  • Support students with their learning and provide guidance when needed
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate school staff
Required Qualifications:

Experience of working as either a Cover Supervisor or LSA

Education:

Minimum of A levels or equivalent

Experience:

Minimum six months experience of working in a secondary school environment

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Confident within a classroom setting
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Enthusiastic and Reliable personality
Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching Assistant qualification
