We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative individual to join our expanding pharmacy team. The team at Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust comprises of approximately 500 pharmacy staff working across five sites and is one of the biggest pharmacy departments in the country.

Main duties of the job

JOB PURPOSE

To maintain clinical pharmacy services to patients requiring parenteral nutrition across STH in accordance with the objectives set by the Consultant Pharmacist TPN. To deliver, organise, prescribe, and advise on the provision of TPN to patients within STH. To provide a small element of clinical pharmacy practice at advanced level within a surgical specialty. To contribute to the clinical pharmacy services including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council BPharm, BSc Pharm, MPharm Higher degree/ Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent postgraduate diploma in specialist area

Registered Independent Pharmacist Prescriber

Experience

Suitable post-registration experience including experience within parenteral nutrition and surgery

Proven experience in the ability to recommend, substantiate, and communicate highly complex therapeutic options.
