The post holder will play a critical role in helping the Centre Manager by managing the Centre’s finances, collaborate across departments and divisions to maintain operational continuity, and gather relevant information for annual reports. As Centre Administrator, you will need to have financial and operational administration experience to ensure that Centre supported activities are delivered efficiently across the partners. You will be comfortable to work across two Institutions and interact with two independent research administrative structures. The post holder will have responsibility for the Centre budget, to ascertain that expenditure remains within the budget provided by CRUK.

The CRUK Convergence Science Centre has a physical location at the South Kensington Campus of Imperial College London. You will be based there but regular and routine travel to ICR (Chelsea & Sutton), other Imperial campuses (., St Mary’s, White City, Hammersmith) will be necessary.


As Centre Administrator you will manage the day-to-day financial operations of the CRUK Convergence Science Centre, ensuring effective communication between financial and research teams across both the ICR and Imperial.

Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) in a relevant area of Finance or Accounting.Financial management experienceResearch administration experienceExperience in academic or research institutionsResearch Grant Management experience

This is a full time, fixed term role until 31 March 2027, based at South Kensington campus.
