The Supply Chain Coordinator is a supportive function to the Supply & Stock Manager. You will be responsible for managing product availability, ensuring continuous supply flow, and reducing the risk of shortages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent organizational skills, and be highly proficient in Excel.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Product Availability Management:

Monitor inventory levels to ensure products are consistently available for sale. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to manage lead times and delivery schedules. Identify and resolve potential stock issues proactively. Build relationships and liaising with other departments. Work closely with logistics and customer service to ensure that products are available and delivered efficiently to meet customer demands.

Supplier Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and timely delivery of products. Resolve any supplier-related issues promptly and effectively.

Purchase Order Management:

Place purchase orders with suppliers accurately and in a timely manner. Track and manage purchase orders from creation to delivery. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and supplier communications.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Utilise Excel to analyse inventory data and generate reports. Create and maintain detailed spreadsheets to track inventory metrics. Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management. Raising discrepancy reports on received goods

Key skills and experiences:

Excellent Excel skills Confidently liaise between internal teams and external contacts 1+ years' experience with purchasing in a supply environment Ideally with background in or knowledge of FMCG buying 2 years' experience using WMS and ERP systems Internal cross-team working Demonstrable experience in managing external relationships in a confident and competent manner 1+ years' of experience in a buyer or procurement role is preferred
