About the Role:

AVEVA continues to develop new systems, processes and policies in support of our mission to become a cloud first subscription business (facilitated through AVEVA Connect and Flex Programme) however its difficult to ensure the team is kept aware of latest processes and data requirements to ensure fast & accurate transactional flow through our function. 

In order to ensure that Commercial Operations are continually adjusting to this fast changing landscape we require a specialist who can support Commercial Operations and work with cross functional teams to define, document, educate and optimize processes/policies/work instructions that will be used by the global Commercial Operations teams. 

The specialist will also work with upstream functions to ensure that any data needed to facilitate order processing is captured and make available to the Commercial Operations team in a consistent, accurate and timely manner. 

Responsibilities:  

Support the Senior Manager, Commercial Operations - Flex & Cloud and other cross functional teams by:

Supporting the process to define, document, standardize and communicate data requirements and processes that effect how Commercial Operations supports AVEVA’s Cloud Business, while liaising with Portfolio, Product Development & Cloud Development Operations Teams as required.

Supporting the development of processes and work instructions to support the fulfilment team while ensuring knowledge and functionality gaps are fed back to the Portfolio & Licensing organisations.

Working with the Product & Pricing team to ensure Product information is available to the Commercial Operations organisation to ensure accuracy & timeliness of downstream processing.

Attending release readiness calls as representative for Commercial Operations (supporting both our direct and partner channels) and establishing a Commercial Operations checklist that supports readiness sign off.

Identification and flagging of issues which will impact Commercial Operations’ ability to process and fulfil orders in a timely and accurate manner.

Collaboration with other stakeholders to resolve any issues that will impact order processing and fulfilment.

Collaboration with 3rd party vendors and partner managers to define and document the order processing workflows.

Supporting and participation with end to end testing to ensure our Systems work as expected.

Assisting with the development of Fulfilment guidelines for each product and delivery of fulfilment guidelines to regional licensing teams (education).

Acting as a champion for process improvements based on feedback from fulfilment teams and other stakeholders.

Tracking, reporting and communication on the status of releases and retirements within CommOps.

Supporting the creation and maintenance of Fulfilment processes for 3rd party software products resold by AVEVA, including engagement with the business where generation of 3rd Party POs are required.

Working with Contract Management team to adopt any contractual languages/form changes developed by the business and work as a liaison between that organisation and the Legal & Commercial Teams to close down gaps in understanding as they present.

Skills and qualifications:

Demonstrable track record of working within a fulfilment function.

Demonstrable track record and knowledge of working in a cross functional Operations Role.

Experience in effective liaison with internal stakeholders. 

Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines effectively whilst working under pressure.

Proactive, clear and concise communicator with strong interpersonal skills for all forms of communication, particularly written communication.

Demonstrable track of problem solving.
