Insurance Analyst Lead

Location: Boston &another in Chicago

Role &Responsibilities Overview:

  • Expected to work in close collaboration with theClient team and EXL team on establishing relationship withstakeholders identify new opportunities areas ofgrowth
  • Develop longlasting trustedadvisor relationships with clients across Insurancefunctions
  • Manage the program governanceframework
  • Strategically align the businessvision and objectives to the projects initiated in differentteams
  • Build thorough understanding of clientsbrand business customers and competitive landscape and providestrategic guidance in building requisite project managementinitiatives
  • Provide Project Client & TeamManagement and Monitor progress of deliverables on daily basis andensures timely resolution of any issues
  • Facilitate seamless flow of communication from top tobottom and the other way around for seamless execution of projects
  • Manage crossfunctional team ofresources
  • Actively seeks ways of improvingcurrent methods systems processes and structures
  • Ensure Industry best practices are followed Communicateand follow up with delivery team
  • Brainstorming on pain areas/Identifying reasonsfor issues/Issue Resolution diagnosis of inefficienciesin the current process and figuring out ways to resolve it
  • Provide technical direction toproject team members across data modeling data manipulationvisualization predictive modeling Reporting and Automation projectsacross Insurance Value Chain
  • Facilitate client working sessions and lead recurringproject status meetings
  • Managedaytoday project operations serve as the functional and domainexpert on the project team to ensure that they meet clientexpectations

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in economics mathematicscomputer science/engineering operations research or relatedanalytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fieldsfrom the top tier academic institutions are also welcome toapply
  • 911 years Core Analytics experience withprior Consulting/Implementation Experience preferably withInsurance Clients (P&C)
  • Extensiveexperience in Pricing /Product Analytics (Pricing model developmentmaintenance modernization)
  • Experience inworking in dual shore engagement and must have experience inmanaging clients directly
  • Competitor analysis Adhocdata analysis to solve business problems
  • Complete understanding and demonstratedexperience of Python R/SAS SQL Visualization tools like PowerBI/Tableau and various modeling techniques
  • Managerial experience in leading analytics teamsincluding career management of offshore staff trainingrecruiting
  • Demonstratedleadership ability and willingness to take initiative
  • Strong record of achievement solid analytical ability andan entrepreneurial handson approach to work
  • Outstanding written and verbal communicationskills
  • Able to work in fast pace continuouslyevolving environment and ready to take up uphillchallenges
  • Is able to understand crosscultural differences and can work with clients across theglobe
