A Primary School in the Burnley (BB10) area are currently seeking talented individuals to join their team as an EYFS TA in September 2024. The school is a popular primary school at the heart of the local community, providing a rich and varied curriculum and wonderful learning and enrichment opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom.  

About this role: 

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our teachers and enhancing the learning experience for children in EYFS. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Provide support to the class teacher in planning, preparing and delivering engaging and effective lessons. 
  • Support individual and small group work, nurturing pupils and managing classroom behaviour to create a safe and positive learning environment. 
  • Monitor and record students’ progress and provide feedback to the teacher. 

Requirements for this role: 

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) desirable, but not mandatory.  
  • Passionate about helping students achieve their full potential. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. 
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
