Job Description

Role Overview

As a blended/Hybrid project management role, this position requires a seasoned Project Manager who can leverage traditional methods to enhance results, accelerate goal achievement, reduce costs, and maximize project benefits. With a focus on Information Security and Risk Management, this role will serve as a key management and coordination point, ensuring business and security requirements are accurately captured, dependencies are met, and solutions are efficiently and effectively delivered and adopted across the enterprise. The successful candidate will drive projects to achieve the desired outcomes through effective problem-solving and strategic implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • OKR Management: Drive the definition, tracking, and achievement of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Squad Relationship Enhancement: Work closely with squads to improve relationships and collaboration, ensuring that teams are aligned and empowered to achieve desired results.
  • Impediment Management: Tactically identify dependencies and blockers, track and help remove them accordingly.
  • Lead multiple projects with waterfall approach
  • Communicate with cross functional teams globally
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience delivering diverse Cyber Security projects (Risk Management and Controls, Security Tools, Cloud Sec, Digital Services Delivery, PII, AIM etc.) in a large enterprise environment.
  • Proactively engage in problem solving to remove obstacles that hinder the progress of program or product delivery and ensure successful results.
  • Partner and collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, vendors, and any dependent teams.
  • Manage cross-functional team to support development and product releases. Teams may be globally dispersed.
  • Champion and foster project change management processes, procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Foster team accountability while ensuring continual flow of high-quality value from the outcomes.
  • Ensure that projects follow standard operating policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Experience working with technical teams, architecture, and 3rd party suppliers/providers.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, a pragmatic approach, and confidence to deliver projects in an environment undergoing significant transformation.
  • Creativity in problem solving and communicating.
  • Self-motivated work ethic facilitation and managing activities throughout the various stages of project lifecycle.
  • Pays attention to team needs and pivots his/ her approaches accordingly to support the delivery of business value. 

 


Qualifications

  • 5+ years in PM.
  • 3+ years of experience leading Information Technology and Cyber Security projects.
  • 2+ years leading large scale transformation programs, involving business process and change, organization change, and multiple large-scale technology components and complexity based on ITIL and CMMI standards.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university.
  • Experience in , Project/Program management and Delivery, software/solution developers (good to have: business analysis).
  • Hands on experience of leading waterfall projects with proven records.
  • Problem-solver with crytical thinking.
  • Proactive manager using 5 Whys’ approach.
  • Collaborative work ethic working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Very strong understanding of the IT and system development life cycle
  • Ability to interact effectively with various levels within the organization.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with application security vulnerabilities and driving vulnerabilities to remediation.
