This Role
Sales and Account Management
Meet budgeted sales and margin targets for the branch. Pricing – Manage agreed pricing policy in conjunction with the Branch Manager. Monitor market price levels and agree strategy with Branch Manager. Set and review branch Sales Development Plan to drive branch sales and margin performance. Recognise poor sales performance and take steps to address in conjunction with Branch Manager. Proactively maintain and support branch accounts. Organise regular supplier and product training. Conduct regular ledger reviews with sales staff and set actions to improve customer spend. Carefully manage key accounts as well as seek out new opportunities.Our Perfect Candidate

Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Proven track record in delivering sales and margin targets. Ability to motivate and manage a sales team. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to organise and prioritise own workload. Flexibility – the ability to adapt, change and prioritise based on workload. Tact, discretion, and good judgment. Strong communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels. The ability to create, implement and manage branch Sales Development Plan. Skilled at providing pragmatic and commercial advice. Proven influencing and negotiating skills. Proactive and able to use own initiative. A strong desire to learn and develop. Team player – collaborative and supportive of colleagues.
