Conveyancing Paralegal

Jenson Fisher is excited to be once again partnering with our long-established client to recruit a Conveyancing Paralegal on a permanent, full time basis. Reporting into the Partners, the Conveyancing Paralegal will ideally have experience working withina similar role and as a result will have an excellent grasp of the conveyancing process.
Not only will you be able to hit the ground running in good time, you will also be tasked with managing and prioritising your own caseload, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
On a day to day basis, as the Conveyancing Paralegal, your responsibilities will include:

- Having a hands-on approach, with a mixture of detailed casework.
- Managing all allocated residential conveyancing files.
- Issuing sale contracts - registered and unregistered.
- Drafting and negotiating contract clauses to suit circumstances.
- Dealing with clients, estate agents and other lawyers confidently on the telephone, giving advice and negotiating solutions to problems.
- Undertake exchanges of contracts.
- Deal with all conditions in a mortgage offer.
- Prepare completion statements.
- Co-ordinate related sale and purchase transactions.
- Dealing with sale enquiries.
- Interpreting and advising on search results.
- Drafting replies to additional enquiries and requisitions.
