We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP The Mount , a category C Prison located in Hertfordshire.
In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.
Hours Monday - Friday: 07:45 - 18:30 Saturday - Sunday: 08:30 - 18:00 There is an expectation to work 1 weekend in 4. SalaryThis position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £47,466 per annum - depending on experience + 2 year Golden Hello (£2,000 in Year 1 of service and £1,500 in Year 2 of service - conditions apply).

Main duties of the job
As a Senior Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will
Be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team by bringing your top-notch clinical skills and passion for care. Undertake a wide variety of tasks including screening, assessments, examinations, and tests as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency. Job responsibilities
As a Senior Nurse you will lead a multi-disciplinary teamto deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions. You will undertake medication rounds,dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assesspatients, and undertake reception screening.
You will contribute to our nursing strategy and vision to;
Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, seekingout, listening to and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalisedand informed by what matters to them.
