Main duties of the job

This is anexciting opportunity to join an innovative team, based in Bridlington. The role will support service users withdiverse and complex needs and their families with issues relating to substanceuse including alcohol. The post would involve assessing need from a personcentred and strength-based perspective.You will have a good understanding of recovery and have a value basethat stems from a strongly held working belief in individuals ability tochange and live in recovery along with a desire to ensure each service user hasaccess to the information and 'tools' needed to live a fulfilling life inrecovery.

About us

The Alcohol & Drug Service (ADS) are a registered charity who havebeen transforming the lives of people affected by drugs and alcohol misuse forover 35 years.

East RidingPartnership (ERP) is a partnership between ADS and Humber Teaching NHStrust. It has three hubs, Hull,Bridlington and Goole. It ismulti-disciplinary team led by a consultant and provides treatment services inthe community. The services includeaftercare, young people, community rehabilitation programme, a specialistsupporting image and performing enhancing drugs/steroids and a team supportingservice users and cares through a team of volunteers and peer mentors

Job responsibilities

Toprovide structured key working and psychological/psychosocial basedinterventions, assessment, referral and advice in a variety of settings tothose who have experienced problematic drug and/or alcohol use.

To participate in the development of the service andpractice and to liaise with a variety of internal departments and outsideagencies.
