About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Substance Misuse Recovery Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a registered charity that has been transforming the lives of people affected by drugs and alcohol misuse for over 40 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of service users from a person-centred and strength-based perspective.
  • Support service users with diverse and complex needs and their families with issues relating to substance use, including alcohol.
  • Develop a good understanding of recovery and work with a value base that stems from a strongly held belief in individuals' ability to change and live in recovery.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide treatment services in the community.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in the substance misuse field.
  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
