As a Trainee Substance Misuse Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals affected by substance misuse and their families. Our team at The Alcohol & Drug Service is dedicated to making a positive impact, and we're seeking a motivated individual to join our innovative team in Bridlington.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves undertaking a traineeship to develop the skills and knowledge required to support service users with diverse and complex needs. You will learn to conduct assessments of need from a person-centred and strength-based perspective, developing a strong understanding of recovery and a value base that prioritizes individuals' ability to change and live in recovery.
What We Offer- A competitive salary during the traineeship (£23,390 - £23,203) and a higher salary range after successful completion (£23,203 - £27,062)
- Generous annual leave (29 days, rising to 31 after 2 years and 34 after 5) and public holidays
