Job Overview

You will be committed to ensuring that each client has access to the necessary information and resources to lead a meaningful life in recovery.

Candidates with relevant experience in the substance misuse sector and a Level 3 qualification in Tackling Substance Misuse or an equivalent credential are encouraged to apply.

We offer a robust package of accredited training programs, and for newly qualified Social Workers, we provide support for the ASYE program.

Key Responsibilities

This role presents a unique chance to be part of an innovative team, focusing on supporting clients with diverse and complex needs related to substance use, including alcohol. The position will involve:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine the eligibility and suitability of clients for the recovery program.
  • Developing personalized care packages based on assessments, adhering to statutory requirements where applicable, to foster positive changes in clients through tailored interventions.
  • Performing risk and needs assessments and implementing management plans in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Collaborating with other health and social care professionals to design care packages for low-risk or non-complex clients.
  • Participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contributing to discussions as necessary.
  • Managing a caseload of low-risk/non-complex substance misuse clients, utilizing both individual and group sessions as appropriate.
