Job Duties:
  • Deliver high-quality primary education tutoring to students
  • Create engaging lesson plans and teaching materials
  • Assess students' progress and provide feedback
  • Support students in developing their academic skills and confidence
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience in teaching primary-aged children
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

At least 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Proficiency in IT for educational purposes
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience in delivering tailored support to students with special educational needs
Working Conditions:
  • Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
  • May require occasional evening or weekend work for school events or parent meetings
  • Work primarily takes place in a classroom setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
