Do you want to join a once-in-a-lifetime transformational Programme at one of the largest UK NHS Health Trusts?
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trusts plans to build new hospitals. With an award-winning, multi-disciplinary Programme Team and as one of the largest new hospital projects in the UK, the Trusts Programme Team combines clinical and design expertise, construction/project management excellence, and specialist roles. It works in a fast-paced and collaborative environment with responsibility for the planning, design, construction and delivery of the new hospital.
We are looking for new talent with workforce planning and organisation and cultural change management experience. You will support the development of effective Change Management Plans focused on cultural change to support the successful transition to the new healthcare facilities. You will also provide support to the development and implementation of workforce plans to support the new hospitals project. You will work with key stakeholders and will play a key role in supporting the project meet its objectives on time and on budget.
The role should be considered an on-site role with the opportunity to take advantage from the Trusts flexible working policies. The role shall be required to work from any of the Trusts premises, although is expected to be predominantly based at the LGI site or nearby premises.
Main duties of the job
Youwill support the BtLW Strategic Workforce and Cultural Change Lead bysupporting the development, implementation and management of the overarchingOrganisational Cultural Change & Engagement Strategy/plan and an alignedManagement and Implementation Plan.
Youwill work closely with a multi-disciplinary team including members of the BtLWteam such as Senior Project Managers and BtLW Workstream Leads along withcolleagues across the Trust in Clinical Service Units (CSUs) and CorporateTeams.

Job responsibilities
Reportingto the BtLW Strategic Workforce and Cultural Change Lead the role involvessupporting and facilitating senior operational and clinical managers toidentify the change required, align to service and workforce plans, plan anddeliver workforce education and training, and ensuring that all other relevantProgramme Workstreams are actively involved and considered to include Digitaland Innovation, Workforce, Architectural Design, Equipment and Strategic Fit.
Thepost holder will have excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiatingskills and will work with Clinical and non-Clinical Service Units to supportthe implementation and effective administration of change management plans andactivities (relating to workspace, workforce education, training andtransformation aligned to new systems and technologies; and the cultural andhuman factors of change aligned to service and workforce integration and newways of working) in accordance with approved change management methodologies,the Leeds Improvement Method and the Programme Plan.

Essential
Demonstration of effective stakeholder management, with an on-going commitment to building and maintaining strong and effective partnerships and collaborations. Strong management skills with the ability to enthuse, motivate and involve individuals and teams and have them understand the Trusts performance expectations. Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment. High level of organisation, self-motivation and flexibility in approach and attitude. A preparedness to take responsibility and work autonomously demonstrating a commitment to delivering results, a quality service and delivery at pace. Commitment to supporting change and continuous improvement and deliver change objectives.
Qualifications
Essential
Educated to degree level or equivalent level of knowledge and experience. Evidence of continuing professional and personal development. Postgraduate qualification to Masters level or equivalent experience.
Desirable
Change Management Qualification or similar.
Experience
Essential
Experience of being involved in the development and implementation of complex change management programmes involving multiple stakeholders. Leading change management workstreams/sub-projects within wider change management projects/programmes. Proven ability to support and deliver change management initiatives and support clinical services transition to new facilities and new ways of working.
Desirable
NHS experience in a Change Management Environment Experience of leading and developing workforce plans across an organisation.
