The role
As a Group Risk Business Partner, you will work closely with the Group Head of Risk to implement and embed the MAG Risk Management Framework across the organisation. You will plan, deliver, and report on risk assessments, facilitate risk workshops, and challenge and support risk owners and business leaders in developing effective mitigation strategies. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert in risk management, utilising your impressive interpersonal skills to offer trusted advice at all levels of the business.
You will also maintain and update the central Group Risk Management System and produce risk reporting for various internal stakeholders. Additionally, you will promote risk awareness and culture through education and training initiatives.
Your adaptable approach will be key in aiding MAGs growth and meeting its strategic goals by adeptly managing risks.
What will make you successful in the role?
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a relevant risk management qualification such as IRM and at least five years of experience in risk-related roles. You will have a proven track record of delivering and embedding ERM Frameworks for complex organisations and applying risk management principles in commercial and operational environments.
You will also have excellent communication and influencing skills, as well as the ability to work independently and in partnership with senior executives. You will have experience with risk tools and systems, data analytics, and international risk standards such as ISO and/or COSO.
Furthermore, you will have strong planning, writing, and organisational skills, and a desire to learn and continuously improve. You will be a team player who can handle multiple priorities and time pressure in a professional manner.
