JOB TITLE: Associate Director - Fiduciary & Funds

LOCATION: Isle of Man

HOURS: Full Time 

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. 

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced growing team as an Associate Director within the Fiduciary, Funds Commercial Banking Team within the Isle of Man.

Our Financial Intermediaries team are looking for an Associate Director who will be responsible for leading client relationships across Isle of Man to achieve our growth aspirations. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and build strong networks.

Possess responsibility for achieving the ambitions set and hit key budgetary milestones. Lead business development, including pitching new services and implementing solutions. Maintain and grow the existing client portfolio, generating new opportunities and relationships with customers. Support senior management with developing and execution of team strategy including exploring new markets and opportunities. Support the team with the day-to-day management, collaborating with business partners and risk.  Challenge processes and find new ways of working to help craft a more efficient, client focussed team. Develops personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities, while also coaching others as required.

Please note this role is only available for individuals residing in, or to those who hold right to work permits for Isle of Man.

What You’ll Need

Market Knowledge – an understanding of product offerings and an awareness of the business, economic and market environment specific to Isle of Man. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills and the ability to balance several competing priorities simultaneously. Communication - an ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and written across different audiences.  Risk management - an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the business and the role the individual plays in managing them.  Conscientious & Collaborative – disciplined in your approach to work, confident in handling several opposing priorities. This role is considered Certified under the Senior Manager and Certification Regime as either requiring mandatory qualifications or being deemed as a role capable of providing ‘significant harm’ to customers. Due to this, successful candidates will be subject to enhanced levels of vetting, and required to complete a fitness and propriety attestation on commencement in role. Colleagues performing this role will be required to be complete a fitness and propriety attestation on an annual basis and will also be subject to additional routine criminal and credit checks
