As a TradeChoice Branch Manager, you will:
- Develop a branch strategy that aligns with the overarching business strategy, establishing budgets and corresponding targets.
- Coach and motivate colleagues and provide access to the right training at the right time.
- Recruit, develop, retain, and reward talented colleagues who share our company culture and values.
- Foster a culture of health and safety, environmentally-responsible behaviour, high standards of business, ethics, and compliance.
- Engage and effectively delegate to foster a smooth team operation that will lead to customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Present performance, productivity, and KPIs to the Board in regular meetings.
- Monitor Branch finances including profit & loss (P&L) and expenditure with a focus on surpass sales targets, and provide subsequent reports.
- Conduct regular Impact Reviews with colleagues to set them up for success.
- Maintain awareness of products, services and industry knowledge including competitor activity.
- Initiate and implement continuous business and process improvements on an ongoing basis.
- Form positive relationships with stakeholders for business improvement and growth.
Your working pattern:
- Monday to Friday (potential for occasional weekends)
You:
- Management experience within an operational or sales environment.
- In-depth understanding of sales, distribution and inventory management.
- Delivering results through strong project management
- Experience in managing/supporting business acquisitions (desirable)
- Promoting corporate vision and translating it into strategic plans.
- Competent in motivating staff by connecting their contributions to overall strategy.
- Strong commercial skills with a pragmatic and proactive approach.
- Ability to influence all levels and work effectively with stakeholders.
- Interpersonal and adaptive communication skills.
- Planning and organisation, effectively managing competing priorities.
- Confidence to work under pressure while remaining calm and conducive.
- Competent in identifying key issues and risks, and problem solving.
- Project management expertise (change management is desirable)
