Reporting to the Financial Income and Planning Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to a comprehensive financial management and support service to divisions, providing key business and financial support to these divisions.

Main duties of the job

The overriding purpose is to support the provision of the highest quality patient care through personal actions and continuous improvement, while supporting the organisation in meeting its financial objectives.

This post holder will report to the Financial Income & Planning Manager and be responsible for ensuring that the Trust has robust control over the achievement and receipt of all of the income streams they should be receiving and providing key business and financial advice to appropriate stakeholders.

This role includes performance reporting and management, development of business proposals, financial planning, budget setting, and supporting the development of Financial Improvement Program (FIP) initiatives and providing benchmarking and analytical support.

The post holder will require technical accounting and business knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial, activity and contracting information effectively to groups and senior non-financial stakeholders.
