Customer Support Coordinator

Due to continued growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Support Coordinator to join our team based in West Thurrock.
About You
Key Requirements:
Good IT literacy skills Minimum 3 years in a lab environment, preferably in a petroleum lab Experience and knowledge of petroleum products. Familiarity with ASTM and IP test methodologies. Instrument (GC, HPLC, AAS, ICP) or Engine experience a plus. Ability to critique and improve activities through continuous improvement and innovation Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service Encourage teamwork (promote operational synergies and alignment) to support each other, and our customers and grow together Drive performance by ensuring performance expectations are met Highly organised with strong attention to detail Confident communicator (written/oral) and able to build rapport, quickly and effectively Demonstrates flexibility and resilience to meet the demands of the roleAbout The Opportunity
You will provide support to customers and interface between Inspection services, laboratory services, and the customer.
Key Duties:
To act as the interface between our customers, laboratory staff, inspectors, and other Intertek offices Provide technical support to customers Respond to all customer leads, meeting pre-agreed service level requirements Set up and maintain customer agreements and or quotations Liaison with laboratory To communicate with internal and external customers regarding sample requirements, collections, deliveries and turnaround times Prepare all documents in relation to analysis requests to ensure customer requirements can be met Follow up on progress and report results at regular intervals to customers Producing reports for samples tested, using local systems Authorise and issue customer reports Liaise with internal offices/3rd party laboratories for any subcontracted work Ensure all job files contain the necessary information Organise the taking of samples when required with laboratory staff.
