Aviation Project Coordinator

**Job Description:**
As a skilled Aviation Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing complex aircraft maintenance and modification projects. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Project Coordination: Oversee complex aircraft maintenance and modification projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Communication: Professionally communicate with customers to plan maintenance inputs, ensuring work scopes are clear and translatable into work packages.
- Work Package Development: Develop accurate work packages that meet customer requirements, ensuring all necessary resources (access, spares, tooling, manpower, and third-party services) are identified and available before the aircraft's scheduled downtime.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with third-party vendors to arrange services, ensuring their schedules align with project timelines.
- Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with Part-21 Design Organisations to support customer requests for aircraft modifications, ensuring compliance with EASA/Foreign NAA requirements.
- Internal Collaboration: Lead internal pre-input review meetings with Commercial, Engineering, and Logistics departments to meet company milestones.
- Customer Meetings: Conduct pre-input review meetings with customers to discuss defects and specific requirements.
- Aircraft Acceptance: Manage the acceptance of aircraft into maintenance.
- Schedule Management: Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact the project schedule.
- Progress Updates: Provide daily updates to customers on project progress during maintenance.
- Documentation Review: Review and complete aircraft documentation (e.g., Technical Log, Deferral Log) during and after maintenance.
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
- Project Management Experience: Proven experience in project management within an engineering environment.
- Aviation Industry Knowledge: At least 5 years of experience in aviation maintenance, operations or CAMO.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using PC applications (Excel, Word, MS Project).
- Communication Skills: Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- System Familiarity: Experience with Wings ERP or similar systems.
- Flexibility: Flexible with working hours.
- Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
**Salary and Benefits:**
This is a permanent job with an estimated salary range of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. You must have current UK right to work to be considered.
