Ancestry is the UK and Ireland's largest family history website with over 1 billion UK and Ireland genealogy records available to search. An upcoming project includes the conservation and digitisation of collections held by The National Archives. The first stage of this major project will be the preparation and digitisation of the original documents. This is an on-site role based at TNA, Kew, Richmond, TW9 4DU. This is a fixed-term contract for 3 years.

You will complete conservation and scanning training. This includes document handling and preparation
You will operate and maintain equipment
You will quality Assure resulting images
You will be accountable for the quality and throughput of your work

Salary
£25,350 per annum
