We are currently seeking a passionate Sous Chef to help run our kitchen here at House of George.   

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven individual to be a part of the launch of the House of George Hotel, nestled in the beautiful town of Broadway in the Cotswold's.

This role will allow you to work in a 28-cover restaurant. We’re looking for someone to be a part of, and work closely with the management team to create a unique dining experience using the best produce in the British Isles.

As Sous Chef, you will be passionate, experienced, adaptive and creative. We want someone who can work well in a team. As a Team leader. And as a Mentor. 

Applicants must be of modern stature, meaning you are keen to make sure the entire team is looked after from a well-being and educational point of view.

We want someone who can help build a solid team and work closely with the Head Chef and Restaurant manager to push the hotel forward at all times, supporting staff and sharing knowledge with passion. 

What we expect:

  • Someone who can help achieve targets
  • Someone who is paperwork savvy. 
  • Ensure compliance with in-house HACCP and food hygiene, health and safety systems.
  • Someone with Michelin experience in a similar role. 
  • Someone who not only works well in a team but can also lead a team 
  • Experience in producing a wide range of foods, all from fresh
  • The initiative to push things forward continuously
  • The ability to work across all sections and the ability to teach
