Due to growth at our Stamford Bridge Nursery, we are looking for additional bank staff -  ideally Level 3 Early Years Educators (Nursery Practitioners) - to join our outstanding team on a part-time basis.

The PositionWe are looking to expand our pool of Bank Staff at our Stamford Bridge Nursery (YO41 1AW) to provide support to the permanent staff at each setting to cover staff holidays, training days and unplanned staffing needs.
As this Nursery is based in a rural location just outside Stamford Bridge, the role would suit candidates with their own transport.

How to get to Muddy Boots, Stamford Bridge
  • By car - from York City centre it takes around 19 minutes (8.5 miles) and we have free parking at the nursery
  • By bus - from York City centre it takes 35-40 minutes to the main square in Stamford Bridge followed by a 10-minute walk (0.4 miles)

What’s required?For this role, we require you to have (or be working towards) :
  • A Level 3 or above Qualification in Childcare
  • or Have a minimum of 6 months of proven experience within a nursery or childcare setting
  • Be available to work between the hours of 8am - 6pm (minimum 1 day and up to 5 days per week)
  • Be flexible in your approach to work and be adaptable to different age groups within the nurseries which range from 6 weeks to 4 years old
  • Love the outdoors as all nurseries have great outdoor spaces for the children to learn and play in

Since opening our doors in January 2012, with only a few team members and a handful of children, we have continually worked to build day nurseries with a strong family ethos and home-from-home feel, which have now been enjoyed by over 1000 families and counting.
