Main duties of the job

Support the Deputy Chief People Officer, HR Operations with the strategic leadership of the People agenda and delivery of employee relations and HR business partnering in the KMPT. Take specific responsibility and provide the day-to-day leadership and management of Employee Relations and HR Business Partners working alongside the People team senior leadership team and providing day-to-day support and coaching to the team. They will be a subject matter expert for HR Operations being the voice and main point of contact for the team. Develop, implement, communicate, and embed policies, toolkits, and practices that support a fair, inclusive, proportionate, and compassionate approach to people management. Analyse data, monitor trends, and develop and implement an approach to ensure continuous learning and quality improvement in how we serve KMPT. Provide expert analysis of highly complex employment issues where no precedents exist, interpreting employment legislation and case law and providing guidance to the People Directorate, KMPT Managers, and Directors.

To ensure a more people and less process-focused approach and regard to more restorative outcomes. To develop, implement, communicate, and embed policies, toolkits, and practices that support a fair, inclusive, proportionate, and compassionate approach to people management To develop the knowledge and skill of their team to be not only technically expert but capable in coaching managers and staff in how they approach and respond to people issues. To ensure that the Investigations team improves the service of employee relations cases and shows a return on investment. To embed continuous learning to improve the service that we offer. To analyse data, monitor trends, and develop and implement an approach to ensure continuous learning and quality improvement in how we deal with employee relations issues, embedding this into our policy, toolkits, and practices. To maintain expertise in all NHS and legal updates as required ensuring that these are cascaded through the teams
