We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to support the efficient operation of our client's nursery. As a Deputy Nursery Manager will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education for young children. This role requires a passion for early childhood development, strong leadership skills, and the ability to create a safe and inclusive environment for children and staff.
The Nursery is large with 3 age-appropriate rooms and extensive outdoor areas offering plenty of space to explore.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a nursery setting.
- In-depth knowledge of early childhood education and development.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the nursery environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in childcare.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Nursery Manager in day-to-day operations including staff management, curriculum development, and child welfare.
- Support the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the nursery meets all regulatory requirements and provides a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and carers, and ensure effective communication regarding children's development and well-being.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery, identifying areas for development and implementing innovative solutions
