The main purpose of the role is responsible for ensuring that all machines are built up after hygiene ready for an efficient production start up.

The main duties would include:

Ensure PPMs are carried out and completed as per the schedule Build up the lines ready for production. Assist in achieving departmental KPI targets To provide a safe working environment for oneself and any other factory personnel working in your area To carry out general and specific hygiene duties in accordance with the methods and safe systems of work detailed on the factory/equipment cleaning instruction cards, at the specified frequency To carry out daily duties and achieve targets as specified by your Team leader or Manager To report all accidents, breakages, allergen spillage or damage to machinery, equipment or fabric to your Team leader or Manager Maintain a good working relationship with all colleagues to promote successful teamwork Any other responsibilities commensurate with the post. Any other reasonable requests made by the Senior Management To work in partnership with the Management team on site to be part of the Culture of the site which drives Food Safety, H&S, Ethical, Environmental and Energy behaviours.

Training Required:

All core training and mandatory procedures All relevant site/area policies, procedures & processes (including customer specific requirements) Minimum Level 2 Food Safety Level 2 H&S awareness Group and site induction.

Knowledge & Skills:

Previous experience of FMCG manufacturing (preferably food related) Excellent level of attendance and timekeeping Understanding of relevant risk assessments and trained as competent to safe working procedures. Understanding and application of hazard identification and near miss reporting
