Job summary

An opportunity has arisen to lead our small but very well respected team of paediatric dietitians at Salisbury District Hospital.

The dietetic department is formed of 11 Dietitians covering a range of adult and paediatric specialities. The Trust is supportive of advanced practice and extended roles in dietetics including non medical prescribing. We are looking for someone who is ready for their next leadership challenge and to take the next step in their career.

Main duties of the job

We will be looking to you to take a leading role in the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) providing specialist dietetic support to paediatric patients at Salisbury District Hospital. You will play a leading role in the specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment of infants, children and adolescents with varied and complex dietetic difficulties in outpatient and inpatient settings. This will include provision to the CAMHs eating disorders, cystic fibrosis and coeliac clinics. You will also be responsible for the clinical supervision and management of other members of the paediatric dietetic team.
