Job Mission- Purpose:

To contribute to Atlas Copco Power Technique's profitability by technically supporting PTS teams and customers to increase parts and service sales.

Your role:

To provide customers with technical support for their Atlas Copco generators and ESS (Energy Storage Systems).

Provide customer support to resolve technical and application problems. Including occasional on-site presence.

Warranty Claim handling.

Service Bulletin Administration.

Support dealers with warranty claims as and when required.

Support service Operations Manager with work-in-progress management.

Provide on-site and remote support for service engineers.

Preparation and provision of internal and external technical service training.

To provide a first-class level of customer support to our customers.

Undertake special project work as required.

Attend annual product training at our factories in Spain and China.

You will report to Service Operations Manager.

To succeed, you will need:

Excellent technical knowledge of at least one of the following lines: ESS Systems, Diesel Generators is essential.

Experience with Customer Support.

Goal-focused mindset, focusing on achieving targets and maintaining effectiveness.

You have your customers perspective in focus and you know how to engage them in your ideas.

Good standard of presentation skills.

Have a good level of PC knowledge including Microsoft applications and .

Desirable: Good basic knowledge of at least two of the following lines: ESS Systems, Diesel Generators,

Educational requirements: A national certificate in mechanical engineering is essential. Apprentice trained and knowledge of Atlas Copco systems is desirable.

High-quality engineering background and technical service experience in generators/lighting towers/pumps/ESS Systems is essential. Product and service knowledge of lighting towers and centrifugal/piston pumps is desirable.

Prepared to travel throughout the UK and Ireland.

A full clean driving licence and right to work in the UK are essentials for this role.
