Therole

As an Accounts Assistant youwill be responsible for all aspects of purchase and sales ledgers,as well as recording cashbook transactions in accordance withcompany procedures and quality policies.

  • Ensure that all work is undertaken tothe highest quality and professionalism in line with the companyfinancial policies and procedures.
  • Postinvoices, check coding and follow up approval for invoices whenappropriate.
  • Accurate and timely posting ofinformation to the ledgers.
  • Dealing withsupplier queries and statementreconciliations.
  • Raising inter-company salesinvoices.
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts andnominal ledger control accounts.
  • Ad hocanalysis for Senior Financial Accountant / FinancialController.
  • Payment runs, Bank Transfers andbank administration.
  • Involvement with month endprocedures and VAT Return workings.
