About the role... Based at our office in Christchurch, we are searching for a Group Finance Shared Service Manager. The primary purpose of this role is to contribute to deliver finance capability across the Group. The role is responsible for leading and managing the programme of Shared Services transformation across the Group including driving consistency and improvement across existing finance systems.

Day to day responsibilities include;
Managing the day-to-day workload, structure, recruitment and training of the Group Financial Shared Services team Setting and facilitating the achievement of Shared Service transformation objectives Establishing consistent group-wide Shared Service processes, controls and documentation Review and update for approval all Policies and Procedures relating to Shared Service functions, including managing the delegated financial authority matrix for payment approvals Overseeing the shared Service team processes and requests Driving Shared Service team performance with recommendations for improvements in systems processes to create efficiencies and controls Working with a variety of departmental stakeholders to ensure appropriate resource allocation considering shareholder value and delivery of service level requirements. Degree in Finance or Accounting related disciplines Professional accounting accreditation – CA, CPA or equivalent Must have experience within an Audit and Compliance environment 3+ years commercial financial experience in a senior finance role People leadership experience Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, particularly excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail with excellent interpersonal skills Strong time-management skills and the ability to work to deadlines Commitment to continuous improvement Qualification and Experience Requirements...
