The role of a Physiotherapist is to Work autonomously delivering musculoskeletal clinical assessment and treatment for individual patients, including accurate clinical diagnosis, formulation of treatment plans, measuring objective markers and making onward referral where appropriate

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· To be part of the musculoskeletal division and work within scope of practice as an occupational health physiotherapist · To be responsible for own practice and accountable for all aspects of physiotherapy treatment and care delivered to the client, undertaking specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment as an autonomous practitioner including workplace assessments, return to work programmes and/or recommending ergonomic and practical solutions. · To recognise when physiotherapy is not an appropriate next step in the patient journey and seek advice from a senior clinician / make onward referral as appropriate. · To liaise with General Practitioners, Occupational Health Physicians, Occupational Health Nurses, other health professionals and Line Managers regarding individuals’ fitness to work and/or return to work. · To be responsible for own practice and accountable for all aspects of physiotherapy treatment and care delivered to the client, undertaking specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment as an autonomous practitioner including workplace assessments, return to work programmes and/or recommending ergonomic and practical solutions.

Skills and Abilities:

· To maintain a calm, measured and professional demeanour during one-to-one interactions with patients, when communicating with colleagues and when representing the business with stakeholders/clients · Excellent verbal and written communication skills primarily using the English language · Use therapeutic communication skills to tackle psychosocial issues arising in therapy situations. · Retain patient/customer/client focus and work to provide patient centred care in all therapy work

Essential Criteria:

· post registration experience in Physiotherapy or Occupational Health Physiotherapy · Registered with HCPC with no restrictions. · Right to Work in the U.K with no restrictions (We can only allow spousal/dependent, ILR visa's)

Candidates who have a HCPC and have MSK experience in our outside the U.K will be considered

Contracted working hours would be 39 per week and will consist of different shift patterns to meet center operating hours. The earliest start time will be 7am and the latest finish time will be 6.

One day you might do a 08:30-17:00 and the next a 07:00-15:00

Full flexibility Monday to Friday is required
