Finance Compliance Analyst – Salford / Hybrid

Marlowe Fire & Security are the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers up and down the country. We are currently looking to appoint a new Finance Compliance Analyst based out of our Salford offices.

Marlowe Fire & Security’s Finance Compliance Analyst’s

The Finance Compliance Analyst will be responsible for tracking, analysing, and reporting on mileage for both private and business use of company vehicles across the group. This role ensures accurate mileage reimbursement, compliance with company policies.

Analyse mileage data using a bespoke software solution to identify trends and discrepancies. Generate detailed exception reports on private and business mileage usage. Ensure compliance with HMRC and company policies regarding mileage. Liaise and communicate with group wide stakeholders on these findings. Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed. Ensure accurate on timely submissions of group wide data to 3rd Party provider. Ad hoc project support on other projects across payroll/finance that require data auditing.

Strong excel skills (minimum pivot table and vlookup) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proven experience in data analysis Ability to deal with large volume of data generated from multiple systems. Highly analytical and able to easily identify trends and patterns in data Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team and on own initiative. Great attention to detail Excellent time management and communication skills This role is a stand-alone opportunity within the team, therefore it wouldn't suit someone who wanted to quickly progress up the career ladder, it would be better suited to someone who would be happy to join the team and deliver in this role for a number of years with stability. - We understand that this is a unique requirement.
