About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Compliance Specialist to join our team at Marlowe Fire and Security. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mileage Tracking and Analysis: Analyze and report on mileage data for company vehicles, ensuring accurate reimbursement and compliance with company policies and HMRC regulations.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize a bespoke software solution to identify trends and discrepancies in mileage data, generating detailed exception reports and ensuring timely submissions to 3rd party providers.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with company policies and HMRC regulations, assisting with audits and providing documentation as needed.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise and communicate with group-wide stakeholders on findings and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Strong Excel Skills: Minimum pivot table and vlookup skills required.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven experience in data analysis and ability to identify trends and patterns in data.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent time management and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Team Player: Ability to work in a team and on own initiative, with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
